Earth  Friendly  Packaging

✧ I use the most earth-friendly options available to package my creations. All packaging is compostable, recyclable and made of 100% recycled materials.

✧ Your purchase may come wrapped in leaves, tied with nettle string or cushioned with flower petals from my garden and recycled paper.

✧ The glass bottles and steel tins I use are made of BPA-free, lead-free recycled materials.

✧ All paper cards that come with your order were made by me out of reused materials and pressed flower petals from my garden.

✧ All shipping labels are zero waste and made of 100% post-consumer content paper.

✧ All tape is compostable and recyclable water-activated paper tape.

✧ I use stamps instead of stickers to avoid waste.

✧ The ink I use is Eco-friendly, non-toxic, acid-free and vegetable-based.

Ingredients

All of the ingredients I use in potion making are either from my organic garden, ethically wildcrafted or grown on small organic farms. I carefully choose where to source my ingredients and only work with fair-trade, organic farms that are not only sustainable, but are helping to regenerate the land. I avoid using rare or threatened species of plants growing in the wild to protect biodiversity. Any rare plants that I do use are sourced ethically from organic farms. Every ingredient I use in my creations is beneficial for the body and Mother Earth.

The Base of all of My Potions is Organic Golden Jojoba Oil. Jojoba oil is actually a liquid wax, which means it does not oxidize or go rancid. It is the closest botanical substance to our skin’s natural sebum. Jojoba’s synergy with our skin means it is deeply moisturizing, nourishing and does not clog the pores.

Essential  Oils

Essential oils are a precious gift from the plant realm. The quality of an essential oil varies greatly depending on its source. To make sure my oils are of the highest quality, I have a close relationship with the people who cultivate and distill for Aura Luna. All oils I use are authentic, pure and distilled only from the named flowers, herbs and tree resins.

To magnify the aromatic essence of the plants being distilled, the farms I work with gather herbs and flowers at the ideal time of day for each plant. They use a long and slow distillation method at the lowest temperature possible to make sure that the most beneficial properties are captured in every drop.

I believe that the energy and intention that goes into what I create is just as important as the ingredients I use. I make all of my potions by hand in my forest home, where fragrant herbs hang from the ceiling, peaceful music plays in the background and sacred plants are burned to cleanse the space and maintain its healing frequency. My home is surrounded by ancient cypress trees, ferns, butterflies, wildflowers and bees. I have a very close relationship with every plant in my garden and in the forest around me. I ask their permission before harvesting and give back to them regularly. While I stir my ingredients, I send warm, loving energy into them. I put the thought of all that I love into all that I make. As the potions infuse over many moons, they are surrounded by crystals, charged with moonlight and woven into form through elven ritual.
